Hello!

We are an "almost empty nest" couple who have found something that we enjoy doing together:  camping.  We decided to create this blog to review campgrounds that we visit, as well as the equipment that we've used.  
Robert is an "experienced" camper, from the Army to camping during motorcycle trips.  Mary's idea of camping has been a hotel...that is, up to now.  For a few years, the family (we have 3 boys) would go to the BMW Halloween Rally in Asheboro, NC, which meant tent camping.
If I'm remembering correctly, there was only 1 other time that we went camping...again in a tent.

    Just realized you had this blog too...I will have to come back and check this one out. I love camping, wish my hubby did!
